OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Daniela Blagus
Meet Daniela
Hi I’m Daniela, I am passionate about supporting children, young people, and adults to build the skills they need to participate meaningfully in everyday life. I focus on fostering independence, connection, and wellbeing, creating environments where people feel safe, understood, and able to grow through their strengths.
I take a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed approach, working closely with families and support teams to develop practical, individualised strategies that fit into daily life. I am particularly passionate about building the capacity of those around the individual to provide consistent and sustainable support.
As an Occupational Therapist with nearly 20 years of experience, I deliver evidence- based, strengths-focused intervention to support emotional regulation, functional skills, and participation. I value collaboration and ensure each person’s voice, dignity, and individuality are at the centre of my practice.
Outside of work, you’ll find me on the netball court, both playing and volunteering, or spending time with my three school-aged children, who keep life busy, active, and full of fun.
Fees: Daniela’s pricing is based on the current NDIS Pricing Arrangement and Price Limits. Fees may vary depending on the clients individual support needs, the type of appointment or treatment plan.

Fun facts about Daniela
What is something that always makes you smile?
I love a great sunrise, followed closely by a great sunset! Just seeing the new day break, the range of colours playing on the clouds and those magical days when an actual ‘ray of sunshine’ pops through! It gives me a sense of awe at how magical the world can be.
What is one thing clients might be surprised to learn about you?
I was a competitive ballroom dancer until my 20’s. I wasn’t at ‘Dancing with the Stars’ level, but we were pretty good. It makes it hard for me not to dance a little when the right song comes on!
What do you value most in the therapy space?
I value meaningful participation over perfection, its more important to me that my therapy helps someone to improve their quality of life rather than just perfecting a skill (which is not always something they actually do very often!)
Education
I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy and am AHPRA registered.
I also have certification in Occupational Therapy Driver Assessment and Training.
